We have tried to make this information easily searchable by indexing by volume-track, railroad, country, type, date, motive power and keywords (like loco number or name).
The "books sections" in this library are indexed by volume number and "track". Sometimes there are several (even many) "tracks" or subjects in one volume. This might occur if there are 4 railroads represented and we want to make sure they are all indexed -- in this case we would condider there are 4 tracks on the volume.
We suffer from imperfect information (who doesn't)- indeed we are not sure what is on some of the tapes - so there may be things on tapes that we have not described properly yet. We will gradually improve the quality of the information. We may not have indexed the tapes perfectly -- for example -- on some of them we may not know which railroad is featured. Some tapes are generic -- less than 50% of the tapes have railroads assigned -- so you will see a lot more if you use the "all" category.
