This video archive is dedicated to the memory of Brian A. Caldwell, who was a dedicated member of the society, and whose untimely death resulted in the society being donated our original critical mass of videos which made the library possible.

This library is a reference library for SPRRHS members use only. The tapes in this library all been donated by members and friends over the past few years. The index is to help members decide what they want to borrow from the library.

Be-Aware: This information is held in a database -- so you search for items here -- rather than through the usual search mechanism

We have tried to make this information easily searchable by indexing by railroad, country, type, date, motive power and keywords (like loco number or name).

We may not have indexed the videos perfectly -- for example -- on some of them we may not know which railroad is featured. Some tapes are generic -- less than 50% of the tapes have railroads assigned -- so you will see a lot more if you use the "all" category. We will gradually improve the quality of the information.
